Death Benefits
Death benefits are the monetary amount paid to a beneficiary upon the death of the insured.
Deductible
A deductible is the amount of Eligible Expenses that must be incurred and paid by the insured or the insureds' dependents before benefits are payable by the insurance company covering the benefit.
Dentist
A Dentist is a practitioner of dentistry, qualified and licensed to practice in the jurisdiction in which the service or supplies are being offered.
Dependent
A dependent is your legal spouse, or person of the opposite gender whom you have been residing with in a husband and wife relationship; your unmarried natural children, adopted children, or stepchildren living in your home, who are under 21 years of age or under 24 if they are in full-time attendance at school.
Dependent Life Insurance
Dependant life insurance covers the dependents of the primary insured.
Disability
A disablity is the incapacity to work as the result of an injury or sickness.
